At Smooth Beauty and Waxing, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality professional skincare, beauty, and haircare products. Your satisfaction is important to us. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help—within reason and in line with health and hygiene standards.

Change of Mind

Due to strict hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind on used or opened products.

If your item is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery. Returns for change of mind are handled at our discretion and may be eligible for an exchange or store credit only.

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please email us within 48 hours of receiving your order, including:

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

  • Your order number

We will either:

  • Send a replacement, or

  • Issue a refund (to your original payment method)

In these cases, we will cover all return shipping costs.

We do not accept claims for damaged items reported after 48 hours of delivery.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and safety standards, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Skincare or haircare products that have been opened or used

  • Items that have been tampered with

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Services or digital gift cards

Return Instructions

If your return is approved:

  • You will receive return instructions and a return shipping label via email.

  • Items must be returned in resalable condition with all original packaging, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns due to insufficient packaging for transit.

  • We will use a trackable shipping method.

Refund Timeframes

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund (if eligible) within 5–10 business days. The exact timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

This policy does not override your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair for goods that are faulty, unsafe, not as described, or do not function as advertised. In such cases, you will not be charged for return shipping or any associated costs.

LED Lights Policy

At Smooth Beauty & Styling, we use a professional Dermalux LED Light Therapy system to deliver safe and effective results. As this is a shared, high-value treatment resource, the following policies are in place to protect our equipment and ensure fair and efficient scheduling for all clients.

By booking a Dermalux LED session or purchasing the One Month Unlimited Package, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Equipment Care & Safety

During your LED light therapy session, the equipment must remain in its original position.

Clients must not move, touch, push, or slide away from the light panels while the system is in use, as this can cause damage to the machine and disrupt its performance. If damage occurs due to failure to follow this instruction, the client may be held responsible for repair or replacement costs.

Our LED system is a delicate, professional-grade device and must be treated with care at all times.

2. Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive late to your scheduled appointment, your session time will be shortened accordingly and will still conclude at the originally scheduled end time.

This allows us to remain on schedule and provide timely services to all clients. Extensions due to late arrival are not permitted.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We kindly ask for a minimum of 6 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations made within 6 hours of the appointment time will be recorded as a late cancellation.

  • Failure to arrive for your appointment will be recorded as a no-show.

  • Three (3) late cancellations or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of any remaining sessions within your Unlimited Package.

4. One Month Unlimited Package – Terms

The One Month Unlimited Dermalux package is available for $99 and is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

  • Sessions not used within this 30-day period will expire.

  • The package is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • All sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

Purpose of These Policies

This LED system is a shared professional resource, reserved specifically for booked clients. These policies help us to:

  • Protect our equipment

  • Respect the time of all clients

  • Manage our schedule efficiently

  • Maintain a high standard of service

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, which allows us to continue offering high-quality LED light therapy treatments.
